2008 Dodge Ram 1500

The 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad-Cab is one of the most popular American pick-up trucks on the market today, with sales reaching into the millions in just a few short years.

The Quad-Cab features a standard seating capacity of up to six (6) occupants versus the standard three (3) occupant seating capacity on the regular-cab version. MDS Technology allows the driver to switch off half of the available cylinders to improve fuel economy drastically in city and highway driving under light-load situations. Testing has unveiled that the 2007 Dodge RAM 4.7L HEMI V-8 with Multi-Displacement Technology is capable of improving fuel economy up to 3MPG in the city and 4MPG on the highway.

The power rating for the MDS-enabled engine remains the same at 345HP and 375FTLB of torque mated with an automatic transmission and routes power to either the rear-wheels or all-four-wheels at the driver’s discretion.

2006 Dodge RAM

The 2006 Dodge Ram has a major refresh in the vehicle lineup, mainly with the final year production for the SRT-10 powerhouse model.

Variations for the 2006 model year feature a short-bed, long-bed, regular-cab and quad-cab choices. Bed sizes range from 6 ½ feet all the way up to 8 feet on the extended versions. Standard seating capacity is at three (3) for the regular-cab and up to six (6) passengers on the quad-cab model. Gas mileage on the 1500 ranges from as high as 16MPG in the city and 21MPG on the highway for the base-model 3.7L V-6 and manages an impressive 14MPG in the city and 19MPG on the highway for the powerful 4.7L V-8.

The 2006 Dodge RAM also features the 4.7L V-8 Flex-Fuel model, which allows drivers to run an alternative fuel source such as E-85 Ethanol in the tank.


2005 Dodge Ram 1500

The 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 SRT-10 features a rear-wheel-drive platform mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that is capable of holding 1,700 pounds of payload.
